DAY 1: LINATE – EDINBURGH

Departure from Italy from the selected airport. Arrival and independent transfer (not included) to the hotel in Edinburgh. Overnight stay.

DAY 2: EDINBURGH

Breakfast at the hotel and meeting with the guide. Departure for a city tour including a visit to Edinburgh Castle, a magnificent fortress that dominates the city from the top of its volcanic rock. Free time for the rest of the afternoon. Free dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3: ST. ANDREWS – GLAMIS – ABERDEEN

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for St Andrews, the home of golf and a beautiful university town. Free time for lunch. Continue to the county of Angus with a visit to Glamis Castle, the official residence of the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne. Continue to Aberdeen with a photo stop to admire the evocative ruins of Dunnottar Castle, perched on a breathtaking cliff overlooking the sea. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4: ABERDEEN – SPEYSIDE – LOSSIEMOUTH

Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic tour of Aberdeen, known as the Granite City. Departure for the Speyside Valley, one of the five whisky-producing regions of Scotland. Free time for lunch. Visit to a famous whisky distillery with tasting. Continue through the stunning landscapes of the Highlands to the coastal town of Lossiemouth, located at the mouth of the River Lossie on the Moray Firth. Check-in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

DAY 5: LOSSIEMOUTH – INVERNESS – LOCH NESS – STRATHPEFFER

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Cawdor Castle, one of the most impressive castles in the area. The castle dates back to the late 14th century and was built as a private fortress of the Thanes of Cawdor. Continue to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat excursion on the mysterious Loch Ness, the lake that has become the most famous in Scotland thanks to the legend of the monster “Nessie.” The excursion ends with a visit to the impressive ruins of Urquhart Castle. Arrival at the hotel in Strathpeffer, near Dingwall. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6: STRATHPEFFER – ISLE OF SKYE – WEST HIGHLAND WAY/WEST COAST

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the beautiful Isle of Skye. Pass by Eilean Donan Castle, located on a small island and reachable via a characteristic stone pedestrian bridge. Continue to Skye for a panoramic tour of the island. Free time for lunch. Continue to Armadale and board the ferry to Mallaig. Proceed on the mainland through the Glencoe Valley, famous for its breathtaking landscapes. Then head towards the West Highland Way area. Arrival at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay. Please note that this will be a longer day.

DAY 7: WEST HIGHLAND WAY/WEST COAST – LOCH LOMOND – GLASGOW

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards the southern part of the Highlands, through lush and beautiful scenery. Stop at the “Rest and Be Thankful” viewpoint and continue to Loch Lomond, the largest lake in Great Britain. Free time for lunch. Early afternoon arrival in Glasgow and panoramic city tour. Free dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 8: GLASGOW – MILAN LINATE

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Free time until the transfer (not included) to the airport in time for the return flight.
